People's Party gives policy speech at National Assembly

Korea's third largest political party took center stage at the National Assembly this morning to take aim at the Moon Jae-in administration.
In his policy speech,... Kim Dong-cheol -- the floor leader of the center-left People's Party said the government has been pushing ahead with policies without communicating with the opposition, relevant ministers or even gather public opinion -- which has led to confusion in society.
The floor leader also called on the government to pay more attention to issues at hand -- such as security and foreign relations.
On North Korea,... Kim said should Pyongyang conduct another nuclear test,... Seoul must move to share nuclear assets with Washington,... rather than wait for China to curb its oil imports to the regime.
As for Constitutional reform... he said it must be carried out to reform the country's power structure -- as it's the root of corruption.
He also urged the ruling party to speak out against the administration rather than just follow its lead.
