We Ate: Chinese Rice Cupcake x Mapo Tofu
Some foods we couldn’t forget on our travels:
1.Chinese cupcake is made with glutinous rice and found on the streets of southern China, sometimes dyed pink. It’s light and topped with a sprinkling of brown sugar.
2. Mapo tofu is silken bites of spicy tofu topped with ground meat and peppercorns. We visited the shop that allegedly invented it in Sichuan.
