A tropical depression brought heavy rains and flash flooding to the southern Taiwanese city of Kaohsiung on August 23 and 24.This footage shows the torrential rain from a site near the Sun Yat-sen Freeway in Kaohsiung’s Luzhu district.According to Taiwan News and Taipei Times, five tankers ran aground off of Kaohsiung’s coast due to the storm.
