Pennsylvania resident films damaged neighbourhood by flood waters

Severe flooding has caused major damage to properties and roads in parts of central and eastern Pennsylvania earlier this month.

Footage shows a road in Orangeville completely destroyed after a flash flood hit the area.

Flood waters from an overflowing river can be seen reaching dwellings and vehicles in the neighbourhood.

The filmer writes: ''I quickly ran home from work to evacuate my three dogs, thankfully, because hours after this the water came to the base of the deck I'm standing on.

''The neighbours' camper shown in the video ended up about a half a mile downstream.''

The clip was filmed on August 15.
