7.3-magnitude earthquake strikes northern Venezuela

Meanwhile in other bad news for Venezuela, the country's northern coast has been rocked by a powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake.
It struck late Tuesday afternoon, local time, some 40 kilometers east of the city of Carupano.
The tremor could be felt more 600 kilometers away in the Caracas, where people were evacuated from buildings.
A tsunami warning has been issued along the Caribbean coast.
As of yet, there are no reports of damage or casualties.
