A powerful 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck southern Bolivia on Monday, and could be felt across several cities across neighboring Brazil.
The US Geological Survey said the quake struck at 10.40 a.m. local time.
The epicenter was 127 kilometers southeast of Tarija and struck 557 kilometers below the surface.
It was said to be one of the most powerful quakes on record in Bolivia, but didn't cause any damage or injuries because it was so deep.
