Malaysia court to deliver ruling on two women suspected of killing North Korean leader's half-brother
  • 6 years ago
Later on Thursday,... a court in Malaysia will deliver its ruling on the two women accused of assassinating the North Korean leader's half-brother Kim Jong-nam.
The trial began at 10 AM, local time.
The women -- who are from Indonesia and Vietnam -- are accused of smearing a deadly VX nerve agent on Kim at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in February last year.
If the judge decides there's enough evidence to support a murder charge against them,... the trial will continue with the court hearing the women's defense.
Otherwise, the judge could free them or reduce the charge from murder, which carries a mandatory death sentence in Malaysia.
