Malaysia court to deliver ruling on two women suspected of killing North Korean leader's half-brother
  • 6 years ago
In a matter of hours,... a court in Malaysia will deliver its ruling on the two women accused of assassinating North Korean leader's half-brother Kim Jong-nam.
The judge will decide whether there's enough evidence to support a murder charge against them.
The women -- who are from Indonesia and Vietnam -- are accused of smearing deadly VX nerve agent on Kim at Kuala Lumpur International Airport in February last year.
If the judge says there's enough evidence, the trial will continue with the court hearing the women's defense.
Otherwise, the judge could free them or lessen the charge from murder, which carries a mandatory death sentence in Malaysia.
