A local court has decided to deliver public notice on its ruling last year to seize the Korean assets of Japanese steelmaker Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal over Tokyo's wartime forced labor of South Koreans.

The delivery of public notice will go into effect on August 4th.
South Korea's Supreme Court ordered the Japanese company to compensate four South Koreans for their forced labor and unpaid work during World War Two.
The firm refused to comply with the ruling and the plaintiffs requested an asset seizure.
Japan's foreign ministry received the legal document but did not act on it.
