A resident of Maricopa, Arizona, captured a haboob dust storm on August 12 as it headed north towards Phoenix.The footage shows a giant wall of dust. The storm was reported to have disrupted flights at Phoenix’s Sky Harbor airport.Such dust storms precede the area’s seasonal monsoon storms, as the wind ahead of the monsoons kicks up dust as it rushes across the desert.
