Dust Storm Transforms Turkish Town Into Martian Landscape

Areas of the province of Mardin in Turkey had an eerie Martian look on January 19, as a large cloud of red dust descended.This video uploaded to Facebook shows the town of Nusaybin in the southeast of the country, smothered in a cloud of orangey-red dust just before 10 am local time.Local reports said that the dust had drifted from Syria in the south, and would affect the area for the remainder of the day on January 19.
