Typhoon Yagi to bring strong winds and rain to Korea if it maintains current path

Now,... for an update on the weather...
South Korea's weather agency says Typhoon Yagi is moving north,... getting closer to the country.
On its current course,... the typhoon is expected to come close to South Korea and sweep into China within the next few days.
The typhoon is forecast to bring strong winds to South Korea's western and southern regions and rain to most parts of the country, bringing us some relief from the heat.
But until the typhoon comes,... the heat is here to stay this weekend.
Seoul saw an afternoon high of 36 degrees Celsius today,... with most of the country seeing the mercury hit the mid-thirties.
And although showers are expected for most of the country on Sunday, the temperatures will be similar to today.
