Good morning, Seoul had its 18th tropical night in a row last night... sticky nights where the mercury remains above 25 degrees Celsius... and the capital is waking up to another very warm morning.
Temperatures were still near 36 degrees Celsius here in the capital yesterday, but for many the heat seemed a little more bearable, knowing yesterday was Ipchu,... but heatwave alerts are still in place across the nation.
Also those of us in inland regions could see passing showers during the day so keep a small umbrella handy.
For a closer look at today's temperatures, Seoul had a low of 28 degrees Celsius while Gyeongju is having a breezier morning at 23 degrees.
Daily highs will be similar to yesterday. Seoul and Chuncheon getting up to 35 degrees Celsius. Daegu and Gwangju will be at 36 degrees.
Temperatures will still be hovering in the mid-thirties here in the capital with rain in store on Thursday.
