Japan's Self Defense Forces have sparked anger among Korean residents in France after Japanese troops marched through Paris' Champs Elysees waving the Rising Sun Flag.
Japan's SDF was in Paris over the weekend as part of celebrations to mark 160 years of diplomatic relations between France and Japan, as well as Bastille Day.
The controversial Rising Sun Flag is viewed in Korea and other neighboring countries as a symbol of Japan's imperialism.
