Good afternoon, it's going to be hotter than yesterday with highs ranging in the low to mid thirties.
More heat will be building up along with high humidity levels. Heatwave alerts remain in place for much of the peninsula under mostly sunny skies, Daegu will see highs soaring to 37 degrees Celsius over the weekend.
Heat and humidity will make everyone feel uncomfortable, take it easy today and drink plenty of water.
Highs in the northern regions will be in the low thirties, getting up to 32 degrees, Daegu and Gyeongju will be blistering hot at 36 degrees.
No relief is on the way for a while, it's going to be very hot and humid under mostly sunny skies. Southern regions will be 3 to 4 degrees hotter than Seoul.
Stay in the shade and avoid outdoor activities unless it's absolutely necessary for next few days and be sure to pay attention to your plants as well.
