Good morning, we traditionally have three of the hottest days during the Korean summer, the heat gets real serious during those three weeks or so. The first hottest day, Chobok, is not until next Tuesday but already this summer has been very harsh.
More heat will be building up along with high humidity levels .. as for here in Seoul, temperatures were just over 28 degrees Celsius but high humidity made everyone uncomfortable all day. Daegu will be as hot as some African nations today.
Heatwave alerts remain in place for much of the peninsula under mostly sunny skies, be sure to take good care of yourself.
It's already warm outside, morning lows kicked off at 24 degrees in Seoul, Gyeongju and Chuncheon.
Highs in upper regions will be in the upper twenties getting up to 32 degrees, Daegu, Gyeongju will be blistering hot at 36 degrees.
No relief is on the way for a while, it's going to be very hot, humid under mostly sunny skies.
