U.S. Secretary of Defense to visit S. Korea next week to discuss suspension of joint military exercises

U.S. Secretary of Defense James Mattis is scheduled to visit South Korea next week,... to discuss the suspension of joint military exercises.
According Seoul-based Yonhap News Agency,... the U.S. defense chief told reporters at the Pentagon that he will visit China and South Korea next week and is in close consultations with Seoul on the issue.
The U.S. defense chief also said he will discuss the suspension of joint military exercises with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton on Friday morning in Washington.
Earlier this week, the two countries' defense ministries announced that August's annual joint military exercises will be suspended,... but no decision has been made regarding other joint exercises.
