Wan Azizah: Dr M listens to dissenting views

Asked about her experience working with Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad as his number two, Deputy Prime Minister Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail painted a picture of him as a flexible boss, rather than the dictator that her husband had once called him.

She said Mahathir gives her room and opportunity to grow, and she can ask him things anytime and there are no limits placed.

She added that there is also room to make arguments as he is open to receiving feedback and sometimes it changes the path of things
