CBI raided the residence of Delhi’s PWD Satyendra Jain in connection with the hiring of a creative team in the Public Works Department (PWD). Jain had set up a creative team of 24 architects for the PWD through a detective agency in 2017 which had come under the CBI’s scanner. Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted questioning what the Prime Minister wants. AAP workers alleged that the raid was retaliation against the Delhi government’s decision to put a cap on profits of private hospitals by announcing the new “Rate Capping Policy”.
