Gas Emissions Remain High Due to Active Fissures in Puna

Volcanic gas emissions remained high as fissure eruptions continued in Leilani Estates and Lanipuna Gardens in Hawaii on Thursday, May 24, according to the USGS.At least 50 structures have been destroyed by volcanic activity on Hawaii’s Big Island since early May.These videos show Leilani Estates at sunset.
