The Mercedes-AMG GT R features a GT3 derived 9-stage traction control system that's managed via a central dashboard toggle. Similarly to the full spec race car, it offers the driver various programmed stages of the traction control systems for optimum performance... and fun!

Jumping into a GT R with Jan Seyffarth, AMG GT3 and Driving Academy driver, we run through the motions to demonstrate how this works and the different options available to the driver. Finally, Jan shows us how it's done with some seriously quick laps in the Beast of the Green Hill; following the car setting a 7:10 record time for a rear-wheel-drive car at the Nurburgring Nordschleife.
