Florida Sheriff's Deputy Helps Save Baby's Life

Deputy Jeremie Nix of Florida’s Marion County Sheriff’s Office rushed to perform life-saving measures on an unresponsive three-month-old baby boy after the mother flagged down his car in Ocala on May 9.This dashcam footage shows Nix pulling over behind the mother’s car, and and police said he performed several life-saving measures on the boy. After not seeing any improvement in Kingston’s condition, Nix rushed the boy to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he was treated. The sheriff’s office said Kingston was “doing very well,” and doctors said the boy would make a full recovery.“Doctors also said that because of K9 Deputy Nix’s actions, Baby Kingston is alive today,” the sheriff’s office said. “We are tremendously proud of Deputy Nix and we can already see that he and Baby Kingston will have a deep connection that will last a lifetime.” Credit: Marion County Sheriff’s Office via Storyful
