Good Samaritan Helps Frozen Florida Iguana

As temperature dipped to nearly 40 degrees Fahrenheit in Florida on Thursday, January 4, some of the Sunshine State’s more exotic residents began to suffer from the cold.In an interview with CBS News, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission warned residents that iguanas, which are native to Central and South American, start to become sluggish below 50 degrees Fahrenheit and could freeze in lower temperatures.Kay Pavkovich shared video on Twitter showing her helping a cold-stunned iguana warm up in the sun.
