Israel strikes Iranian targets in Syria as tensions escalate

Israel and Iran exchanged fire for hours... during a volatile night in the Golan Heights on Thursday local time.
This marks the first time Tehran's forces fired rockets directly at Israeli troops.
The move follows a series of military strikes by Israel in Syria... that targeted Iranian positions since the civil war broke out in 2011.
Syria and Iran blamed the previous strikes on Israel.
