여자탁구, 세계선수권서 27년 만에 '남북 단일팀' 구성

Seoul and Pyongyang formed a joint women's team for the first time in 27 years at the 2018 World Team Table Tennis Championships... currently taking place in Sweden.
There was originally a quarterfinals match planned on Thursday between the two Korean teams,... but as they agreed to compete as one, they advanced to the semis together.
The last joint team in table tennis was formed in 1991 during the Championships in Japan.
Thomas Weikert, the president of the International Table Tennis Federation, led the move.
South Korea's national table tennis federation also plans to form a joint team with the North at this year's Asian Games... and has finalized its proposal to the international table tennis authorities.
