Korean unified team wins gold at 2018 Korea Open Table Tennis mixed doubles

Now to some great news from the 2018 Korea Open Table Tennis tournament currently being held in Daejeon.
Korea's unified team has won gold in the mixed doubles.
South Korea's Jang Woo-jin and North Korea's Cha Hyo-sim won the gold with a 3-1 victory over a duo from China.
Unification Minister Cho Myoung-gyon who was watching,... praised the two Korean players for playing so well despite a lack of practice time.
He also said their spirit will contribute to the further improvement of inter-Korean relations.
South Korean player Jang Woo-jin said the game was one of the most memorable of the career.
He expressed his appreciation to the North Korean players and staff, saying they built deep trust in a short period of time.

"I want to thank Hyo-sim a lot, because, every time I tried to take risks and got nervous, she told me to play just as we'd been doing and stayed very calm. She was really friendly and I depended on her a lot. If there's another opportunity to form a unified team, I'd love to play with Hyo-sim again one day."
