Rollercoaster in Japan Stalls, Leaving Passengers Stuck Nearly 100 Feet Up

A rollercoaster at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka stalled suddenly on May 1, leaving at least 64 passengers stuck on two carriages, according to Asahi.One of the carriages of the Flying Dinosaur ride, located in the Jurassic Park-themed area, was stuck near ground level. However, a second carriage was stalled nearly 100 feet off the ground, leaving its passengers suspended and facing downwards towards the ground.NHK reported the passengers in that carriage were safely removed by park staff through a side passage, and no injuries were reported.
