An Alcatraz Island ferry was called on to rescue 10 people from a sinking boat in San Francisco Bay on Thursday evening.The SF Examiner reported the boat began taking on water after striking a rock near the former prison island. The Alcatraz Clipper rescued the passengers after responding to a Mayday call.Simon Houde captured the dramatic rescue on camera, writing on Facebook that the boat sunk five minutes after the video ended.
