Indonesian search and rescue teams recovered three bodies on Wednesday, June 20, from the site on Lake Toba, in North Sumatra, where a ferry sank on Monday. The bodies, all of women, were found on Wednesday morning, CNN Indonesia reported. This video shows workers transferring one of the bodies into an ambulance.Hours after the ferry KM Sinar Bangun capsized on June 18, one body was found. Bad weather and strong currents have hindered the search.A total of 18 people were rescued during the sinking, but 178 people were reported missing, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, spokesman of the National Disaster Management Agency, told journalists via WhatsApp.Because there was no passenger list, the number of the missing people was based on reports from families, Sutopo said.BBC Indonesia later cited a source saying that figure could reach 192.The government initially estimated between 70 and 130 people were on board at the time of the incident.
