Expert's take on latest North Korea developments

Let's get an expert's take on the latest developments regarding North Korea,... they are coming thick and fast at the moment.
We are joined on Skype by Robert A. Manning, Resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council in Washington,.. he also served for many years at the U.S. State Department.
Good afternoon and thanks for joining us.

I'd like to start by getting your opinion on the inter-Korean summit.
We've all had a few days to digest it now,... with some sober reflection after the emotion of the day,... how do you think it went and what do you make of the declaration that was signed by President Moon and Kim Jong-un?

I wanted to get your opinion on what U.S. national security advisor John Bolton told Fox News over the weekend. He said the U.S. is considering a "Libya model" on North Korea. I don't know what to make of this statement, it seems out of left field and not particularly conducive to peace. As we know the U.S. ended up attacking Libya a few years later and that country's dictator Muammar Gaddafi was murdered...

Kim Jong-un says he will close down his northern nuclear test site in full view of international experts and media. If he's seriously going to give this the green light,... it's a massive concession on Pyongyang's side, no?

Quickly,.. before we let you go. North Korea says it's changing its clocks back. Kim had changed the clocks three years ago to put the country 30 minutes behind the South. From Thursday,... they'll be one time zone again. Is this a big deal or a minor symbolic gesture?

Thanks for taking time out of your schedule to share with us your insights with us,... we know it's late over there. That was Robert A. Manning, Resident Senior Fellow at the Atlantic Council, with his take on the latest developments on the Korean Peninsula.
