Police have carried out a search of the main offices of Korean Air..., as part of their investigation into the so-called 'water rage' incident, where Cho Hyun Min, a senior executive of the airline, allegedly assaulted an advertising agency employee.
The police confiscated two smartphones used by Cho, and the smartphones of two other Korean Air executives.
They also searched Cho's office and the office of the marketing department, which she headed, to find out whether there was any attempt to cover up the incident or to appease the victim or the ad firm.
Another raid was carried out on the ad agency... and the firm's officials were questioned.
Police plan to question Cho, the younger daughter of Korean Air's Chairman, once they finish analyzing the confiscated evidence.
For now she is banned from overseas travel pending the probe.
