North Korea's trade deficit with China reaches US$1.7 bil.

The economic sanctions on Pyongyang may be starting to bite... as new economic data shows... North Korea is selling less to its biggest trade partner, China.
U.S. news website Business Insider says North Korea has fallen into a one-point-seven billion U.S. dollar trade deficit with China.
According to NK News review... North Korea spent over three-billion dollars on Chinese imports last year,... but only exported one-point-six billion dollars in goods.
The North's exports last year represent a dive from 2013 when it exported nearly three-billion dollars in goods to China.
The drastic dip follows the U.S.-led international push to put maximum pressure on the regime by restricting its trade.
