South Korea's foreign exchange reserves edged up in July compared to the month before.
According to the Bank of Korea,...reserves reached 403-billion U.S. dollars around the end of July, up 40-million dollars from June.
The central bank attributed the rise to an increase in revenue from foreign currency assets despite a stronger greenback.
As of the end of June, South Korea had the world's ninth largest foreign exchange reserves, with China topping the list.
