সিরিয়ায় ইসরাইলের একটি যুদ্ধবিমান ভূপাতিত করেছে আসাদ বাহিনী। তবে এর পাইলট অক্ষত রয়েছে বলে দাবি তেল আবিবের। ইসরাইলের ওই হামলাকে আগ্রাসন উল্লেখ করে প্রতিহতের ঘোষণা দিয়েছে দামেস্ক। এদিকে, দেশটিতে রাসায়নিক হামলার ঘটনায় আসাদ সরকারের জড়িতের বিষয়ে নির্ভরযোগ্য কোনো প্রমাণ মেলেনি বলে জানিয়েছে ফ্রান্স। একইসঙ্গে অসহায় সিরীয়দের ত্রাণ সহায়তায় প্রেসিডেন্ট বাশার আল আসাদকে মানবিক হওয়ার আহ্বান জানিয়েছে জাতিসংঘ ও ফ্রান্স।
