Ingredients:-
2 cups Water
Cinnamon
Black Cardamom, crushed
1 tsp. Ghee
Rice, soaked for an hour
½ cup Sugar
Saffron, soaked in Milk
Almonds, roasted
Pistachios, roasted
Cashews, fried in 1 tsp. Ghee
Green Cardamom, crushed
Ghee for garnish
Saffron strands for garnish
Method:-
1. Boil water for 5 minutes and add cinnamon, black cardamom, ghee and rice. Mix well.
2. Cover with a lid and cook the rice halfway.
3. Add sugar, saffron and mix well. Cover with a lid and cook for 5 minutes.
4. Now add almonds, pistachios, cashews, green cardamom, ghee and saffron.
5. Mix well and serve.
Basant Panchami Special Meethe Chaawal is ready to eat!!
