McCain won't vote for Graham-Cassidy Obamacare repeal bill
  • 7 years ago
John McCain dealt what is likely to be the final blow in the GOP's race to pass a plan to overhaul Obamacare. I cannot in good conscience vote for the Graham-Cassidy proposal," the Arizona Republican said in a statement. "I believe we could do better working together, Republicans and Democrats, and have not yet really tried. Republicans need at least 50 votes by Sept. 30, but McCain, Rand Paul and Susan Collins are all expected to vote no. After Sept. 30, they would need 60 votes.
