In March 2017, a video showing two children in Venice, Pennsylvania, pleading with potential kidney donors to come forward to help save their mother’s life was shared widely online, and it worked.Diana Zippay shared the video to Facebook on March 26, and after seeing the video, Melissa Deighan got in touch to see if she was a suitable match. Thankfully she was, and on July 25, Zippay got her new kidney.
