Missouri State Troopers Rescue Four People, Dog From Flooding

More than 100 roads were closed in southeast Missouri on Saturday, April 29, after significant rain triggered flooding that washed away some roads and bridges.Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens declared a state of emergency in response to the flash flooding. Residents in hard hit areas were evacuated, and the American Red Cross opened shelters.Emergency responders had to perform dozens of water rescues, including the one in this video. Missouri state troopers rescued four people and a dog from a home on the Big Piney River in Texas County.Flash flood warnings continued on Sunday.
