Pratyusha's fan commits suicide depressed by her death

A woman, identified as Madhu from Chhattisgarh, was extremely depressed after the news of Pratyusha’s suicide went viral and she was closely following the case developments. Unable to live with the fact that her favourite star took such a drastic step, Madhu committed suicide in front of her two-year old son who was locked in the same room. Pratyusha Banerjee, known for her role of Anandi in ‘Balika Vadhu’, committed suicide on April 1.
