Karnataka govt has asked Supreme Court to modify an earlier order on sharing Cauvery water with Tamil Nadu. The Siddaramaiah government filed a petition in the court to modify its last order in which it asked the state to release 6,000 cusecs for seven days. Karnataka has said that it cannot release water to Tamil Nadu till December this year.
