Karnataka released Cauvery water for Tamil Nadu amidst bandh in several parts and protest to obey the supreme court's order. Chief Minister Siddaramaiah decided to release 15,000 cuses of water per day to Tamil Nadu for 10 days. Meanwhile the protests have become more lethal. Pro-Karnataka groups have called for a state-wide bandh on 9th Sept.
