Russia blames rebels for chemical attack in Syria

Russia's defense ministry slammed rebel groups, who they said are responsible for the chemical gas attack that killed and injured dozens of civilians. Russia acknowledged that Syrian planes attacked the rebel-held town of Khan Sheikhoun in northern Syria. The ministry said the planes hit a depot of lethal substances intended for use in Iraq, which quickly spread leaving at least 70 people dead. The U.S. said the Syrian planes dropped the chemical weapons as part of President Bashar al-Assad's regime.
