For the first time, more people have Netflix than a DVR

The number of households with Netflix now surpasses those with a DVR for the first time ever, according to Leichtman Research Group’s 15th annual study of on-demand video. The research found that 54% of American adults reported having Netflix in their household, That’s a huge change from 2011, when 44 percent of households had a DVR Regardless, traditional linear TV is not dead yet. 46% of adults said they often flip through channels to see what’s on TV.
