In a very unusual act, President Trump’s press secretary, Sean Spicer, blocked journalists from CNN, The New York Times and Politico from attending his press briefing on Friday. Reporters from Time magazine and The Associated Press, who were allowed to attend, decided to refrain in protest. Dean Baquet, the executive editor of The Times Spicer explained that his decision was meant to "expand the press pool" by adding other outlets.
