China said it's willing to work the new U.S. administration to resolve any trade disputes through dialogue. President-elect Donald Trump, who will be sworn into office on Friday, has repeatedly criticized China's trade practices and vowed to impose tariffs. Trump's choice for commerce secretary Wilbur Ross said he is looking for ways to combat Chinese trade and imports. Chinese Commerce Ministry spokesman Sun Jiwen said China is willing to work with Trump to establish mutually-beneficial commercial ties. "I believe China and the United States can resolve any disputes through dialogue and negotiation and that the China-U.S. commercial relationship will not significantly stray from the path of mutual benefit," Sun told the press.
