Sea Turtle Laying Eggs in The Galapagos

We finally found our prize after a night of turtle hunting on the beach in Satellite Beach, FL. This is our edited version of the footage the girls and I shot of the mother loggerhead laying her eggs. Earlier in the day we all went through sea turtle classes with a marine biologist, Tim Nolan, in his turtle seminar. We only approached the turtle after she dug her hole and began to lay eggs. At that point the turtle becomes oblivious to her surrounds and finishes the job.
