Hyundai Motor and Kia Motors are preparing for a tough 2017, after facing their first annual sales fall in nearly two decades in the past year. The automaker set their combined sales target for this year at 8.25 million cars, which is up by 1.5 percent from its 2016 target goal. Analysts believe the companies will fall short of their sales goal, according to Reuters reports. Hyundai shares were down by 2 percent in 2016, while Kia was the worst-performing stock among major automakers with a 25 percent decline.
