Germany's biggest airline Lufthansa has canceled 35 flights scheduled for Sunday after a strike was announced by a pilots union. The five-day strike by members of the Vereinigung Cockpit union has now grounded nearly 2,800 flights, affecting 350,000 passengers. "Almost all Lufthansa flights will operate according to schedule tomorrow. However, 35 flights canceled due to the strikes on the preceding days" the company twitted on Saturday.
