BBQ Fish with Asian Salad | Madeleine Shaw | Wild Dish

Local fisherman Peter takes Madeleine Shaw out on his boat and helps her to catch her very first fish. She returns to the villa to cook up a delicious BBQ fish dish with a crunchy Chinese cabbage salad.

Recipe
Ingredients
Fresh fish
Tamari
Sesame Oil
A handful of sesame seeds
1 Chinese cabbage
1 lime
1 knob of ginger
1 spring onion
1 small chilli (deseeded)
A pinch of coriander

Method
Gut and descale your fresh fish and season with tamari, sesame oil and sesame seeds.

BBQ the fish for a minute on each side. You could always use a grill pan instead and still get a similar flavour!

Thinly slice your Chinese cabbage and place in a bowl.
To make the dressing put a few teaspoons of tamari over the cabbage, generously drizzle with sesame oil, add some freshly sliced ginger and spring onions and a squeeze of fresh lime juice. Mix together.

Finish with some sesame seeds and coriander and add some fresh chilli for a bit of a kick!
