WHO: Adult diabetes cases have quadrupled since 1980

The number of adults living with diabetes has skyrocketed when compared to figures by the World Health Organization.
WHO's reported found that four times as many adults live with diabetes now compared to known figures from1980. An estimated 422 million people were living with the disease in2014 compared to 108 million 36 years ago.
Based upon current data,WHO predicts diabetes could become one of the top seven causes of death worldwide by 2030.
